Hello, I’m Masashi Motegi, the director.
Angel Veneer is a treatment that bonds a thin layer of ceramic onto the surface of a tooth to adjust its color and shape. Its main feature is that it keeps tooth removal to a minimum, and I think it’s an option that fits my own treatment philosophy of “shaving and removing as little tooth as possible.”

About Angel Veneer
Conventional laminate veneers involved shaving down about 0.5 to 1mm of the tooth surface before bonding on the ceramic. But enamel, once removed, never grows back.
Our Angel Veneer uses bonding technology and a thin ceramic shell (about 0.2 to 0.5mm) to improve appearance while limiting tooth preparation. The veneer can be removed if needed, but this does not restore enamel that has been removed.

Treatment That Limits How Much Tooth Is Shaved (Depending on the case, anesthetic may not be needed)
After checking your bite and the alignment of your teeth, we work out a design that reduces the amount shaved from the tooth surface. We take care to limit the strain on the enamel, and some cases can proceed without anesthetic.
If you’re anxious about pain or sensitivity, we’ll talk you through it beforehand.

Veneers Can Be Removed (Replacement Is Possible)
Because the veneer is bonded with adhesive, it can be removed if needed. Before treatment, we assess the condition the tooth may be in after removal. Enamel that has been shaved away does not grow back, so removing a veneer does not guarantee a return to the original tooth.

Complete in as Few as 2 Visits
Treatment is usually completed in 2 to 3 visits.
From taking the impression to fitting, you can have the smile you want in about 2 to 3 weeks. It’s also an ideal short-term treatment if you have an important event coming up, such as a wedding or job hunting.

How Treatment Works
As Fast as 3 Days!
●DAY 01
Medical History & Counseling
We take the time to ask which part of your front teeth bothers you and what result you’d like to see.
Examination, Suitability Assessment & Impression
We check your bite and the condition of your teeth to determine whether veneer treatment suits you, then take an impression.
●DAY 02
Making a Mock-Up Model
You check a sample model showing how the veneers will look once fitted, and we fine-tune and finalize details such as color, height and width.
●DAY 03
Making the Ceramic Shells
Daisuke Inamoto, a skilled dental technician, makes your custom, ultra-thin ceramic shells (about 2 weeks).
Trial Fitting & Check
We try the finished shells in place so you can check the color and shape. Any fine adjustments are made at this stage.
Fitting (Final Placement)
After a thorough Airflow cleaning, the ceramic shells are bonded on with a strong adhesive.
We do a final check of your bite and appearance, and treatment is complete (about 1 hour).

Precautions, Risks & Side Effects
- You may feel some discomfort in the period after fitting.
- A strong impact can cause the shell to crack.
- If you have severe teeth grinding or clenching, you will need to wear a night guard.
- This treatment may not be suitable if you have a deep bite or severe misalignment.
- Please avoid biting into hard foods, such as ice or rice crackers.
Common Questions
Does it hurt?
Because we plan the design to reduce how much tooth is shaved, some cases can proceed without anesthetic. We also explain beforehand any risk of sensitivity
after treatment. *If veneers alone are being used to change your tooth alignment, we may suggest some shaving.
Can anyone have this treatment?
It is not suitable if you have a deep bite or severe misalignment. In that case, we will suggest another treatment better suited to you, such as our clear aligner treatment (Invisalign).
Can the veneer be removed?
Angel Veneer can be removed if needed. Before treatment, we assess the condition the tooth may be in after removal. Enamel that has been shaved away does not grow back, so we cannot guarantee a return to the original tooth.
How long does it last?
With proper care and a checkup every 3 months, it can last 10 years or more.
How is this different from whitening?
Whitening lightens the color of your natural teeth, but it can’t fix uneven coloring or the shape of your teeth.
Angel Veneer’s big difference is that it can improve color, shape and gaps all at the same time.
